My Favorite Soft Foam Roller ahhh!
Let's not hide the facts, foam rolling can be really painful with the average foam rollers.
I was teaching a Mat Pilates class at the local hospital based wellness center about 10 years ago and had a small class for a change. I ran around the wellness center gathering up all the foam rollers we had and taught the few regular clients that showed up (average age 70) how to use the foam rollers. At the end of the class I was really excited to get their reaction to foam rolling and was sadly surprised to get the response "please don't ever do that again" ha!
Fast foward a year when I came across a local instructor who was using a soft foam roller and people were loving it. When asked what I thought of it, I told the instructor that I didn't feel anything. She replied, "exactly". It was a great option for those people who really disliked the discomfort of a regular foam roller. I understood!
I ended up purchasing a soft foam roller and for the first time since investing in several foam rollers that were in my house. I had to go looking for my soft foam roller as my husband liked this version. He had never used any of my other foam rollers.
I started using the soft foam roller at work with individual clients and finally with groups and the response was a resounding... where do I get one of these?

It will help you hydrate and release stuck tissue without pain. I have several clients, who have chronic pain, that swear by it for helping them get a good nights sleep if they get on the soft foam roller for a few minutes before bed.
